Kinney towing's larger tow trucks make sure that the driver of the tow truck can keep track of all the necessary air pressure's and the constant securement of your downed unit to the tow truck.

Kinney Towing's larger tow trucks roll to the scene with an array of equipment to make sure that upon arrival at the scene that we can perform the job as quickly and safely as possible without having to wait for another vehicle to bring it to the scene. We also strive to provide your company prompt and professional Service so as to make sure that your downed unit is not giving the bad image of your trucks are not maintained. Let's face it, all vehicles break down at some time or another and if it does go down, you want to get it back to your yard as quickly and safely as possible so that you can get it on the road to make money. Remember, downtime costs money. It is a simple fact of doing business in the transportation industry.

The first thing to look for is when an underlift is used, make sure that straps are utilized to hold your front axle to the underlift and not just allowing gravity to hold the vehicle to the underlift. Next make sure safety chains are used between the tow truck and the downed unit so in the event of a hydraulic line breakage, the unit will not run away. Make sure the driveshaft/drive axles are disconnected or removed to separate the roadway and tires from transmission and engine. Last but not least make sure that the towing facility has air lines running to the downed unit so that the driver of the tow truck can keep track of your air pressure so that the brakes don't lock up or to see if some other steps need to be taken to safely tow your unit back to your shop.
